Join us as we partner with the Kitsap County Noxious Weed Control Board to bring you a free, hands on community workshop at Blue Oak Park! Together, we’ll take a closer look at some of the invasive and noxious weeds found right here in Kitsap County, learn practical ways to identify these plants, and how to manage them.
The coming year could be an important one for Parkwood East and we want you to be part of shaping it!

You may have noticed things look a little different around here! We've been giving our Parkwood East website a much needed refresh.
If you've visited Blue Oak Park recently, you may have noticed we've accumulated quite the stockpile of firewood!
When you think about what the Parkwood East HOA maintains, our neighborhood parks might be the first things that come to mind but really they're only part of the picture!
Located along Blue Oak Parkway, Blue Oak Park features: a playground, basketball court, swings, and plenty of space for outdoor recreation. As one of Parkwood East’s primary active recreation areas, it also serves as a gathering place for many of our community events and activities.
Located along Blue Oak Parkway and adjacent to Blue Oak Park, the Baseball Field offers approximately two acres of open space for play and outdoor recreation. The field features a baseball diamond and backstop, with plenty of open lawn for casual games, activities, and enjoying some extra room to play.
Located on Hickory Place NW, Hickory Loop Park is a neighborhood recreation space centered around its full-sized basketball court. The park also features swings and a climbing tire which offers a mix of activities for families and anyone looking to get outside to play.
Nestled among the trees along Hickory Street, Hickory Street Park offers a shady neighborhood space for play and outdoor recreation. The forested park features swings and a small basketball court, combining simple recreation with the natural character of Parkwood East’s wooded green spaces.
Located between Redbud Lane and NE Conifer Drive, Yellow Bridge Park is a cozy corner park. Features include swings, a jungle gym, and a tall slide. The park takes its name from its distinctive yellow footbridge, a longtime neighborhood landmark, that spans the stormwater channel and gives this little park its unmistakable character.
Spanning approximately two acres between Cottonwood Drive and NE Conifer Drive, Swamp Park is a forested natural area encompassing riparian and wetland habitat plus the headwaters of Mosher Creek. Tucked within the heart of the park is a small pocket play area featuring swings and a slide, offering a unique place to play and explore the natural side of Parkwood East.
